Biathlon rollerski area in the French alps
Welcome to the Vercors biathlon rollerski area in the French Alps.
The biathlon rollerski area has been built by the Communauté de Communes du Massif du Vercors in order to offer high-quality facilities to top athletes as well as holidaymakers looking for new experiences. The area is located at 1,100m in altitude, in Corrençon-en-Vercors (Vercors mountains), at the edge of the Hauts-Plateaux nature reserve, and allows Nordic sports enthusiasts to rollerski and practise biathlon during the summer.
The area includes :
- A 5.5km tarmac run that splits into five runs of different levels (one green, one blue, two red and one black) to total 14km
- One stadium with 25 50-metre targets and a 10-metre shooting range for compressed-air and laser shooting
Choose the run to match your abilities
Beginners or pros, don’t hesitate to come and try summer Nordic skiing and have an unforgettable time. Rollerskis can be hired from a shop on site – the shop has both classic and skating rollerskis. There is also a welcome desk where all your questions can be answered. The École du Ski Français (ESF) offers an introduction to biathlon and rollerskiing. It is the first school to teach rollerskiing.
